Groundhog Day → February 2nd, 3rd, & 4th, 2025

A large evolving installation including a durational video/performance art piece where we show the movie Groundhog Day three days in a row, each new day acting like this is the first time we’ve shown the movie. Each day, the movie footage gets more and more weird and is accompanied by various strange performances. The overall piece creates a message about rebirth in the face of stagnation using references to our shared trauma during the covid pandemic and the uncomfortable transition in the early 90s of becoming a more technologically dependent society.
